Hello there,

I´ve never tried oil paint so much. This one looks great - I like the eye gaze, even though its details are quite loose.

This piece is a good one.

Little question: Her nose. I´m not able to say it for sure, but it seems to be a little bit of (tip of the nose against the angle of the root of the nose). Is that right?

Oil paint is so much fun to use, I highly recommend getting into it if you're interested.

Yeah it's just a very quick sketchbook portrait I did in about an hour. There's a lot of things that are a bit off, or totally unfinished. I felt like I captured something good in the expression though, so I might do a bigger more finished version of this.

What cultural influences I can find in this one? It´s kind of reminds me something but I´m not able to grasp what exactly.

I was inspired by pagan Swamp Gods both from eastern (chinese/japanese/indian) and my native (slavic) tradition. So I combined them in one netsky statue for today's inktober topic))
